Privacy Policy

Human Asia (hereinafter “HA”) establishes this Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle related grievances promptly and effectively.



Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)

HA processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information shall not be used for purposes other than those specified, and in the event of a change in purpose, HA will take necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
1. Membership Registration and Management
Confirmation of membership intent, identification and authentication, maintenance and management of membership, prevention of misuse, verification of legal guardian’s consent for children under 14, provision of notices, and handling of complaints.
2. Provision of Goods or Services
Delivery of goods, provision of services, issuance of contracts and invoices, provision of content, customized services, identity and age verification, payment and settlement, and collection of receivables.
3. Complaint Handling
Verification of complainant’s identity, confirmation of complaint details, communication for fact-finding, and notification of results.



Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)
1. HA processes and retains personal information within the retention period agreed upon at the time of collection or as required by law.
2. Retention periods are as follows:

• Membership Registration and Management: Until withdrawal of membership.
• However, if investigations or legal disputes are ongoing: until completion.
• If obligations from service use remain: until settlement.
• Provision of Goods or Services: Until completion of provision and settlement.
• Records retained under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce:
• Advertising records: 6 months
• Contracts, cancellations, payments, and supply records: 5 years
• Complaint/dispute handling records: 3 years
• Records retained under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act:
• Subscriber communications data: 1 year
• Internet log and access tracking data: 3 months



Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

HA does not provide personal information to third parties without the consent of the data subject, except as permitted by law.



Article 4 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing)

HA may outsource personal information processing to ensure efficient service delivery. In such cases, HA shall stipulate restrictions and responsibilities in contracts and supervise the outsourcing entities. Any changes will be disclosed without delay through this Privacy Policy.



Article 5 (Rights of Data Subjects)
1. Data subjects may exercise the following rights at any time: request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing.
2. Requests may be made in writing, by phone, e-mail, or fax, and HA shall act without delay.
3. If correction or deletion is requested, HA will not use or provide the relevant data until the process is complete.
4. Rights may also be exercised by a legal representative or authorized agent.



Article 6 (Items of Personal Information Processed)

HA processes only the minimum personal information required to provide services.
• Membership registration and management: name, ID, password, e-mail, phone number, etc.
• Provision of goods or services: payment and delivery information.



Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information)
1. HA destroys personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary due to the expiration of retention periods or fulfillment of processing purposes.
2. If retention is required by law, information shall be stored separately.
3. Methods of Destruction:
• Electronic files: permanently deleted using technical methods.
• Paper documents: shredded or incinerated.



Article 8 (Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information)

HA implements the following measures to ensure security:
• Administrative: internal management plans, staff training
• Technical: access control, encryption, installation of security programs
• Physical: restricted access to IT facilities and storage areas
