Activity Report 2026 1st Youth Human Rights School — Sangsin Middle School

29 Jun 2026

On June 25, Human Asia held the first 2026 Youth Human Rights School Program at Sangsin Middle School. The Youth Human Rights School Program is an initiative in which Human Asia's human rights experts visit middle and high schools to deliver lectures on human rights.

As part of the program, Human Asia Program Officer Sohyun Pyun delivered a human rights lecture to all students at Sangsin Middle School, introducing the history behind the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the various mechanisms through which the United Nations protects human rights.

Students who participated in the lecture shared that it was their first introduction to the United Nations and that the session sparked their interest in the UN and inspired them to consider future opportunities within the organization.

The program, which was attended by approximately 400 students, helped raise awareness of human rights and introduced students to the role and importance of the United Nations. Human Asia looks forward to your continued interest and support for the Youth Human Rights School Program.
