On June 17, Human Asia visited the charitable Clothing Bank of its partner organization, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), and met with local representatives to discuss opportunities for future collaboration.
The Clothing Bank operates through a systematic process whereby clothing donations received from both within Jordan and abroad are thoroughly inspected, sorted, and cleaned before being distributed free of charge to vulnerable households throughout the country.
Human Asia has maintained a partnership with JHCO since signing an MOU in 2022 and has continuously provided clothing assistance. In recognition of this support, JHCO expressed its appreciation by installing a star bearing the Human Asia logo on the wall of the Clothing Bank facility.
Currently, JHCO’s charitable Clothing Bank provides clothing assistance to more than 80,000 vulnerable individuals and families in Jordan each year. Human Asia will continue to work toward alleviating poverty in local communities through its partnership with JHCO.
